IronCore Systems
Selected Programs

Built in the Estimate. Proven in Review.

Selected rail, transit, and public infrastructure programs where IronCore Systems was brought in to test scope, cost, and constructability, and where the work produced documented results.

$2B+
Largest CMAR GMP Program Supported
$500M+
Cost Findings Documented for the Owner
500+
Structured Constructability Findings Delivered
50+
Bid-Item Cost Reports Authored

Amtrak, Susquehanna River Bridge

Rail CMAR GMP Program, $2B+, Northeast Corridor

Led OCS, traction power, and time-related indirect estimating on the owner-side estimating team. Supported the 90 and 100 percent engineer's estimates and contributed to forensic GMP review that documented cost findings in the several-hundred-million-dollar range. Authored 50+ bid-item cost reports and completed line-by-line OCS reconciliation that drove a 207,000+ man-hour labor delta to roughly 2 percent alignment.

SEPTA, Four Capital Programs

Constructability and Cost Support, Philadelphia, PA

Reviewed trolley modernization, a traction-power substation, a heavy maintenance facility, and a tunnel CBTC program at 30 through 100 percent design opposite the designer of record. Delivered 500+ structured findings with designer response tracking, plus cost gap analyses, basis-of-design reviews, specification reviews, and schedule and sequencing analyses.

Southern Nevada Water Authority, Alfred Merritt Smith WTF

Flocculation Rehabilitation, CMAR, Las Vegas, NV

EI&C lead on the review team. Constructability review at 60 percent design and the full electrical, instrumentation, and controls takeoff covering 169 motors and actuators across MCC and power distribution schedules.

Wastewater Treatment Program

E&I Estimator of Record, Southwest US

Led the full electrical and instrumentation takeoff and estimate, estimate read and reconciliation, bidder question-and-answer, and best-and-final support for the owner.

Wastewater Treatment Facility, P3 Delivery

Constructability and Progressive Procurement Support

Constructability review and specification hardening for the electrical scope, plus packaging input, risk allocation, and interface coordination for progressive procurement.

CDOT US-160, Elmores to Dry Creek

Risk Register & Schedule Analysis, CM/GC, Colorado

Developed and verified a 40-risk quantitative register with Monte Carlo simulation on a CM/GC highway program at 60 percent design, auditing each risk against 1,000+ pages of source documents and delivering a full register with dashboard, risk matrix, quantitative analysis, and mitigation tracking.

Engagements above were performed by IronCore Systems (2024 to present), primarily as a specialist subconsultant to a construction management and engineering consulting firm. They do not represent prime-contract delivery of the listed programs. References available on request.

Program History

Before IronCore, its principals estimated some of the largest transit and rail systems programs in the country. Selected prior program experience:
